With a proven track record of over 13 years of executive experience in driving change management and leadership, Maytha Al Habsi saw the inception of Emirates Foundation in 2005. Maytha was profiled as one of UAE’s top Inspirational leaders in 2014, and named amongst the ‘Top 20 Most Influential Women in the UAE’’ by The National in 2007 2015 and was awarded the Business women of the year and Business Leader of the Year at the Gulf Business Awards 2018.
As a leading National and practitioner in Youth Development, Al Habsi focuses on creating youth empowerment programmes, that has touched the lives of thousands of youth to date, impacting them positively and permanently.
She lead the establishment of a unique platform for young social entrepreneurs operating across all GCC, the Emirates Award for Arabian Gulf Youth, creating a culture of social entrepreneurship amongst youth and building bridges to connect them with expertise in the sector; and “volunteers.ae”, the one any only UAE wide platform allowing volunteers to match their skills with specialized opportunities provided by public and private sector organization.
In her capacity as CEO, she focuses on positioning the Foundation as a thought leader in Youth Development; and strengthening its contribution to the overall vision of the UAE.
